qsstv software package provides Qt-based slow-scan TV and fax, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install qsstv
qsstv is installed in your system.
Make ensure the qsstv package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep qsstv *
You will get with qsstv package name, version, architecture and description in a table
